The Law of the soul

The soul of man is mainly made up of desires; like a sponge it is always thirsting, seeking something to fill itself.  In Ephesians 2:3, Paul says that we all were indulging "the desires of the flesh and of the mind."  These desires are the spring of all of our actions.  In Romans 7:23, Paul writes about a "law" within him that is waging war for total domination.  The law of the land is the U.S. constitution.  The law of the human soul is desire.  Desires rule.  Desires carry the biggest stick and are not silent.  Ever since the fall our natural inclinations have been corrupted to oppose God and His law.  I will have more to say on this subject.
